Paralleled Heinlein's own writing on alternate lifestyles, but more practically down-to-Earth. |

![]() | Timothy Leary Home Page, Though derided by the government and media because of his ties to LSD, Tim was as important to inner space as Galileo was to outer space. ![]() | John C Lilly Home Page, scientist, thinker, inventor, interspecies communicator, always leading the way into the future. Of this group, probably the most deserving of the term "scientist." The Human-Dolphin Foundation endeavoured to be the first group to cross the communication barrier with another species. John pioneered trails many were to follow. Thanks especially for the isolation tank. (And for letting me use yours.) Of this group of distinguished men, only John has 2 movies based (very, very, VERY loosely) on his life. Altered States parallels his work with the isolation tank and psychoactive substances, while Day of the Dolphin paralled that of his work in the Virgin Island with dolphins. |
